The horse-racing and social event didn't disappoint track-side either with unique decor pieces, such as the LQP prop merry-go-round, and over 5000 attendees donning their finest blue-and-white fashions in pursuit of the day's Best Dressed honours.
The Best Dressed Man was won by Jorge Mavova who won a Cartier wallet while the Best Dressed Lady Prize was won by Naledi Mabuso who received a Signature Treatment voucher by Langaro Lifestyle and who will be flown to attend the Glorious Goodwood event in the UK in August 2016. The Best Hat winner was Carolyn Steyn whose prize included a Cartier bag.
With so many stylish ensembles around, it was a challenge to select the ultimate winners but the judging panel - including last year's winner Deborah Calmeyer; brother and sister fashion design duo Errol and Gloria Arendz; designer of luxury Okapi handbags, Hanneli Rupert; and official LQP spokesperson Bonang Matheba.- proved equal to the task.
Celebrity guests in attendance, meanwhile, included F1 racing boss Eddie Jordan, media personalities Momzame Mbartha, Jen Su, singer Danny K and Lisa Koppel, actor Maps Maponyane, TV star Minnie Dlamini, model/TV presenter Cindy Nel and surfing champ Jordy and Lyndall Smith, along with John Ferguson, professional jockey Lester Piggott, racehorse trainer William Haggas and British thoroughbred racehorse trainer Ed Dunlop amongst others.
After the dust had settled on track, the action moved to the stylish Stud Club where chart-topping Euphonik headlined an exhilarating After-Party, which went on well into the night.
