The soapies received six nominations each and the public will get the opportunity to vote for their favourite soap in the Best TV Soap category, which will see all participating TV soapies going for the Golden Horn.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago says, “When there are people out there who believe that we are doing something right by nominating us so many times, it's an indication that whatever kind of programming that we do is what the people want out there.”
The 10th SAFTA awards will take place on 18 and 20 March 2016 at Gallagher Estate and will be broadcast live on SABC 2.
