Chef Grégory Czarnecki of the Waterkloof Estate's restaurant was named the Eat Out S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna Chef of the Year at 2016 Eat Out Restaurant Awards. The restaurant was also placed third on Eat Out's SA Top Ten Restaurants list.
Czarnecki was acknowledged for his confidence and tremendous skill in his work in the restaurant's kitchen. After graduating high school, Czarnecki pursued his passion for food and apprenticed at a restaurant after which he gained experience working at finest restaurants in France. Czarnecki recently introduced a new summer menu at the Waterkloof restaurant.
