34 years ahead of the pack

Oasys hiring is the longest running activation of the Oasys offering, since 1977 it has been at the heart of the company. Oasys hiring does not only boast a long life, but it can call upon a well experienced staff that averages 10 year's employment per worker. In recent years Oasys hiring has re-invented its range of items to deliver on market demand and accommodate market trends.

Investments in excess of R30 million rand have allowed Oasys to boast an ever evolving range of furniture. Eco-friendly furniture with the latest in designer-style items allow Oasys to cater for tastes and requirements. The plug-in-and-play items are modular and allow for a quick turn-around time, optimised service delivery and ultimately impact on the concept of efficiencies in service levels. Their furniture is lightweight, palatable and with a distinct content of ergonomics and user friendliness

"Much attention was given to the internal hiring process, which directly improved on critical timelines" says Managing Director Kevin Kennedy. "We have achieved a 360° degree monitoring status of the flow of our inventory, including the stock status for carpets and furniture for all our branches on a daily basis. Our investments in new carpets and furniture exceeded R14 million during 2010. Of course, as a 'green' company we refurbish wherever we can, while obsolete materials that are no longer fit for our image is donated to charitable organisations. The machines and mobile brushing units for carpet cleaning in the factory and for marking the carpets as Oasys property, have either been refurbished or newly acquired. "

Oasys consider themselves "leaders" in the field of roll-on carpets as they source them in many different colours and supply them on market demand. "Much of our inventory reflects on international trends, and our partnership with GL events always keeps us a step ahead in terms of the global 'look and feel'. Even though Oasys takes influence from world renowned designers like Philippe Starck, they do not deny the fact that the local market is competitive. We do not ignore the African designer status and have the foresight to accommodate customised solutions in furniture and carpets," concludes Kevin.
