SAP ABAP Developer

Job description

Requirements:

Commitment to working on-site daily is mandatory
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (strongly advisable)
Systems Design certificate or training
A Minimum of five years of experience in SAP S4HANA ABAP development
Experience in researching, interpreting, and applying SAP Notes
Logging and managing SAP tickets/calls
Strong knowledge of SAP systems and modules
SAP ABAP certification (Desirable)
Experience in working in with SAP S4 Extended Edition / Private Cloud / HEC) (Desirable)
Fiori Development, SAP BTP tools (E.g.. BAS) as well as low-code no-code tools (Desirable)
Experience in Pharma, Logistics, or Wholesale & Distribution Industries (Desirable)
Familiarity with SAP CPI (Desirable)
On the job training to be provided when entering this position: SAP System documentation

Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications
Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP programming language
Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Perform regular system checks to ensure optimal performance
Provide technical support and training to end-users
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in SAP ABAP
