According to Hayley Vann-Herbert, sales manager of Jawitz Properties Southern Suburbs, the office will better accommodate their growing team. “We are extremely excited to have opened our doors in this very central location and our sales and rental teams are keen to enhance the services we provide throughout the Southern Suburbs region, which stretches all the way from Kalk Bay to Mowbray.
The team, of close to 20, has specifically seen growth in the Claremont and Kenilworth sectional title markets, both in the number of sales and value of properties, as a result of the areas being closer to town and the fact that they continue to offer buyers and investors long-term value.
On the rental side, Vann-Herbert says monthly rental prices have decreased but there is constant movement and she feels her growing rental team is testament to this.
“I would still advise homeowners to be realistic when pricing their homes. There are real buyers out there and they will buy if they see the value. I also believe that a sole mandate is the best way to go as it gives sellers real control over the marketing of their property and the integrity of the negotiations.
