Exhibitors this year responded to the growing international demand for effective security solutions and delivered the latest in pioneering technologies and products from the world's leading manufacturers.
Visitors travelled from all over Southern Africa and the world, to view a range of displays for both domestic and industrial sectors and to engage in discussions on market-leading products. These ranged from specialised armoured vehicles from Dubai, to crime-stop fog generators from Italy, as well as the latest in visual guarding devices and software solutions worldwide, including CCTV and alarms, to personal protection devices.
There was also increased international interest in the exhibition, with companies and visitor delegations coming from countries including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Belgium, Korea, China, India, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey.
Carl Woodland, Chief Operating Officer of Oasys Exhibitions said, “We provided 1 162sqm of shell scheme, 300 linear metres of shell scheme walling, 13 registration counters, as well as 6 880sqm of carpeting and the electrical infrastructure for the entire show. The China Pavilion, Korea Pavilion, Siemens, Sanyo and Du Pont all requested designer stands.”
Woodland said that the company has geared itself to become a significant supplier of infrastructure to every sector in the commerce and industry and intends to also continue its focus on the security sector.
