3rd Annual Jobs & Career Expo
The Jobs and Careers Expo, organized by Imbizo Events and its subsidiary IMBEX, is a premier platform designed to facilitate information sharing, networking, mentorship, and career opportunities for job seekers, students, and community members. The event brings together key stakeholders, including government departments, private and public sector representatives, and educational institutions, to address challenges such as unemployment and education drop-out rates in the Eastern Cape.
The Jobs & Career Expo, hosted by Imbizo Events and its subsidiary IMBEX, is a high-impact platform focused on tackling unemployment, skills gaps, and education access in the Eastern Cape and beyond. Now in its third year, the Expo has positioned itself as a critical connector between job seekers, students, employers, government, and education institutions, creating real pathways from learning to earning.
Built around the theme “Breaking Barriers: Careers Without Limits”, the Expo is intentionally designed to expand access to future-focused opportunities, with a strong emphasis on STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). The programme prioritises skills and careers aligned to innovation, digital transformation, and economic growth — ensuring young people and job seekers are equipped for the realities of a rapidly evolving job market.
