    Our client that specializes in interior plant scaping and rentals for commercial spaces based in North Riding / Lanseria is looking for Events Consultant / Co-ordinator (But need to have end to end experience in events) to grow their short-term rental business of plants. 
    Very rewarding commission on the basic salary is available.

    The role will also involve once off sales. The right person for this role will need to be able to identify and create needs for their products, establish relationships with customers to develop new business. This role is part of a very large corporate with plenty of scope for growth. The position will also be responsible for promoting new or additional products to existing customers. The right candidate for this role will need to be client facing, confident and very professional. Promotion of the company’s products and services must be done through well-organized sales presentations as well as organised meetings. The role will be part of assisting customers understand their needs and requirements and by making recommendations and tailored solutions from their range of products they supply within events and plant supply.

    In order to be considered the following is required:
    • Grade 12 (mandatory)
    • Relevant qualification in interior design, horticulture or a related field
      Experience in sales very beneficial
      Experience in events
    • Proficiency in MS Office and computer literate - not negotiable
    • Proficient in English, read and write
    • Driver’s license and own reliable transport
    Responsibilities:
    • Quoting and closing sales
    • Following up on customer queries
    • Plan daily, weekly and monthly activities
    • Prospecting for new clients and generating new business
    • Develop and execute growth strategies focused on revenue generation and customer satisfaction
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals and quotations
    • Achievement of set objectives and goals
    • Conduct market research to identify new markets, customer needs and industry trends for strategic decision-making
    • Effective time management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing key customers e.g. event management companies
    • Where necessary, accompany the installation team to installations and assist with placement
    • Complete all sales administration/ reporting accurately and timeously
    • The performance of tasks other than that which is required in the normal job specification may be necessary from time to time, as such, the incumbent will endeavor to comply with such request in the pursuit of a predetermined objective
