Uongozi, the Kenyan reality show looking for the next leader ended last week and a winner was picked. Adan Mohamed beat out Solomon Wanyama to win Kshs. 3 million to be used for the implementation of a project in his community.
Adan's plan reads: If I won the three million shillings, I intend to drill a borehole that will not only provide water for the community but also create a sustainable source of income that will be used in paying school fees for orphans in Mandera South constituency.
This project shall also seek to diversify the activities that the community undertakes from pastoralism to crop growing. The borehole shall be able to supply adequate water for irrigation
