The Distillery was named the provincial winner in the Five Star Meetings, Exhibitions, Conferences, and Events (MECE) category at the 2015 Lilizela Tourism Awards recently held in Kirstenbosch Gardens, Cape Town.
The distillery, built in 1905, is over 100 years old and many of the original buildings built from stones gathered in the Eerste River are still intact and used today. In addition to the guided tours and tastings that run throughout the week and weekend; the property offers a rich heritage and the venue lends an air of sophistication to the corporate events and meetings that are hosted here.
