F5 Networks names Matthew Barker as director of its sub-Saharan Africa operations

F5 Networks has named Matthew Barker as its new director of its sub-Saharan Africa operations. Barker will be responsible for leading a team of salespeople, channel staff and engineers to consolidate the F5 Networks' position in application delivery.

Barker previously served as sales manager for Fortinet's secure access architecture in Africa and has held leadership positions across the region, which included the roles of Aruba Networks' sub-Saharan Africa manager, NetApp's channel manager and Symantec's partner manager.
