Kobie Lochner steps into CEO role at Historic Wines of the Cape

Historic Wines of the Cape, the management company behind La Motte and Leopard’s Leap Wines, has announced the appointment of Kobie Lochner as its new CEO, effective 2 June 202

Currently senior growth and development manager at Heineken Beverages International, Lochner brings extensive expertise in leadership, strategic management, and organisational development. He will succeed long-serving CEO Hein Koegelenberg, who is set to retire at the end of 2025 after 26 years of transformative leadership.
