Andela appoints chief strategic officer

Andela has appointed Wambui Kinya as its chief strategic officer to lead growth strategy across the African continent. Kinya was previously group managing director for pan-Africa and South America for technology consulting firm, ThoughtWorks. Kinya will be responsible for the promotion of female software developers and will increase the company's efforts to recruit technical leadership across the continent.
