Show profile Hide profileI am, to date, employed as an Events Assistant in the Events Department at the City of Cape Town where I work in a pressured environment to complete various processes within a set amount of time. We deal with the Event Organiser first hand, allocating the budget accordingly, as well as working on their marketing plan, public relations management, branding plan as well as the rights package, therefore becoming the project manager of the event.
My responsibilities also include guest management, as well as guest list management, dealing with VIP’s and protocol management.
On occasion I participate in the creative services, developing the format and content of the programme of the event. We work on multiple projects at one time where deadlines are short and expected to be met on time.
