Show profile Hide profileage I have always seen public speakers on television and have been fascinated by them. The confidence and the drive of being able to motivate and influence people grew even much bigger.
I would join debates at school and I was eventually chosen to be the school prefect, from there my passion for public speaking grew to being the voice of the students. I enjoyed it very much and my love for speaking transformed to the love for poetry. That is when I started writing and reciting poems at school.
I got a chance to enrol at LUCT for Public relations where I learned even more skills in crises management, brand management , customer care, but to name a few. That is when I applied to be the brand ambassador for the university and was picked alongside fourteen others. Being the ambassador helped me learn some more apart from what I was taught in class. I learned the loyalty of being an ambassador and standing beside your brand no matter what.
At school it would happen that we are picked to work with real life companies and do PR work for these companies, I was lucky to be one of those students who would be picked. One of those companies was Global Asset Sales where we were supposed to make up a marketing strategy for the company for their new product, Boost Energy drink. We pitched to the company but unfortunately, they had no budget for the strategies we derived.
