Dr Dlamini pioneered his work in South Africa during his study period in Pretoria in the early 1990s and after graduation, as he worked for Mike Payne Architects in Witbank and later RFB Architects in Auckland Park. The vast experience that Dr Dlamini amassed while working for these companies served to strengthen his ambition to start his own business.
Between 2001 and 2005, Dr Dlamini went on to consolidate his project management expertise with the University of Bath in the UK, where he did the MSc in International Construction Management. Dr Dlamini exercises unique influence in traditional architectural practices, construction engineering and project management thinking. He employs contemporary innovative approaches and his work in practice bears testimony to his thinking in shaping theory and practice in infrastructure delivery. More recently (between 2010 and 2014) Dr Dlamini studied PhD in Construction Management and Engineering with the University of Reading in the UK. His commitment to continuous learning mean that his capabilities are progressively enhanced and remain relevant to 21st century demands for economic value. Dr Dlamini is a strong proponent of sound corporate values. He has on several occasions opted to pull out of some public sector infrastructure projects due to corruption. While this has cost the business millions of rands in lost revenue, he is proud that he refused to be reckless. His strong ethos of integrity and leadership suggest that Sitsabo Project Managers will continue to grow even to greater heights.
