In 2010 I graduated from Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Design with achievements in Major Photography and Minor Graphic Design.
This three year Bachelors program equipped me with a firm foundation in Contemporary Photography, focusing on the fusion of critical thinking, technical ability and conceptual communication.
In addition I studied Sport Trauma at the Volks University in Utrecht, Holland (2006) and Dutch Language, Level 2.
My achievements to date are varied, and have allowed me to experience many facets of life on my path to success. I have enjoyed a number of interesting career experiences prior to being a Lecturer at Potch Academy, like working on P & O Cruise liners in the South Pacific as a Photographer, been a wine tasting assistant in the Cape, done au-pair work in the Netherlands and have also been an Assistant Photographer at Garyth Bevan Photography in South Africa.
At Potch Academy I am Lecturer, Photographer and Photographic Studio Manager at Studio 360. I enjoy the various aspects and freedom of creativity within Photography. I find it very rewarding to share my knowledge with our Photographic students, and encourage their own creativity and freedom within the various Photography genres.
