Having worked as a copywriter for a year and as a features writer for two years, I have honed my writing, research, creative ideation and copy-editing skills. I am at a place in my career where I feel it is time for a challenge in a company that is centred on empowering people through information.

I would say that I am a suitable candidate to work as a writer because of my passion for telling important stories and engaging in critical social discourse that concerns Africans on the continent and in the Diaspora. I enjoy conducting research and producing content that informs, empowers and challenges the reader, which also makes me an ideal candidate.

I spent my three years at the University of Cape Town studying courses such as psychology, sociology, introduction to business management, anthropology and philosophy; these courses broadened my view and understanding of the world and helped me develop critical thinking and analytical skills that contribute greatly to my writing.
