Kerushun Pillay is a multimedia journalist with experience in print, radio, television and online journalism, as well as multimedia production and social media. He is currently a news journalist at The Witness. He has worked for mainstream daily newspaper, The Mercury, and for indian community newspaper, the Post, and was a radio and TV journalist for SABC News in Durban. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Rhodes University, where he specialised in New Media. His experience and studies have equipped him with the ability to construct unique and focused angles for stories, attain a high degree of competency with various production tools and equipment, develop and maintain contacts, as well as the discipline to meet deadlines.
