Develop and implement Category Plans aimed at growing market share for food business unit. Creation of insight and market trends from available resources of information and combining the perspectives of customers, consumer insights and sales staff into executable plans at a regional and national level.

Responsible for developing, managing and facilitating the implementation of channel strategies and that we are aligned to consumer, customer and shopper propositions at the point of purchase which are integrated with category and brand strategies.

Assisted with the delivery of regular, added value and ad-hoc information analysis for sales and marketing such as monthly category reports, quarterly reviews, etc. Develop and manage a range of POP drivers for the shopper within an agreed budget. Input into demand management on the event forecasting uplifts for in store activities i.e. customer promotions, sampling to Shoppers, pricing, and demonstrations in store.

Propose a yearly merchandising strategy and budget to be signed off by Marketing, Sales and the trade. Provide the CAMs with the tools to implement Customer Trade Promotions. Developing and executing of launch plans of new products in all trade channels.
