Show profile Hide profileWe are currently recruiting for a suitably experienced and qualified candidate to join our dynamic Creative team.
The Exigent Creative team provides an integral service to our discerning legal firm clients and undertakes all typesetting, formatting, design and creative work to assist our clients to develop and produce their client-facing business development and marketing materials.
The Junior DTP Operator's primary role is to work directly with our clients to develop and design both on and offline marketing materials, as well assist the Account Executive to develop, maintain and uphold the clients' visual identity. The Junior DTP Operator is expected to produce bespoke design solutions across a variety of mediums while working in strict accordance with established workflow processes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:-
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience providing graphic design services, preferably with an advertising or marketing agency, or alternatively within a large corporate environment, providing similar internal graphic design support.
• Recognised qualification in graphic design, as well as a thorough understanding of branding, marketing and advertising principles.
• High level of proficiency working on both Mac and PC platforms using the most recent versions of QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, as well as Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.
• Proven knowledge and diverse experience in producing finished artwork for professional print - ranging from business cards to exhibition stands, as well as exposure to digital materials such as websites / microsites, smartphone / tablet apps and animated banner adverts.
• Proven ability to accurately translate a client brief into a practical, brand aligned design that will attract our clients target market.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to comfortably and professionally liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Above average command of the English language, with the ability to proof-read work on behalf of our client.
• Above average level of attention to detail, ensuring high standards of accuracy at all times.
• The proven ability to meet short deadlines and manage workflow well under pressure.
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
We are seeking individuals who are available to work 40 hours per week on a shift basis. Our current shift is from 1:00pm to 10:00pm and a night shift allowance of 20% is paid for hours worked after 6:00pm. The required hours of work may change from time to time in response to the evolving needs of the Employer's business and its clients' demands. From time to time overtime work will be required. The salary for this role is market and experience related.
