Copywriter. Designer. Creative thinker & strategist with 2 years of agency experience and 2 years of freelance experience. Before my career in creative marketing, I gained a decade of retail experience which helped me accumulate a cannon of knowledge on what consumers want, and how they want it presented. Combined with my current agency experience in working on retail brands among many others, my level of communication and conceptualisation has grown sufficiently and is constantly evolving.

Having worked on national brands like BUCO (Hardware retail) & NWU (North-Western University), I have gained experience in bilingual marketing in English and Afrikaans. Having worked on international brands such as Sappi, I have gained the experience of conceptualising campaigns that aim to break through the clutter of an already-distracted world. I also have extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop and basic design principles.

What do I do when I'm not writing and thinking about words? I write and think about words. And music.

I live for words, stories and music. In my own time, I love to bounce ideas around, which are aimed at improving existing marketing concepts and general well-being. Whether it’s just a headline or a big multi-tiered concept. In other words, great ideas keep me up at night.
