Show profile Hide profileI am an extremely organized person and have excellent skills in IT including MS Office packages, Excel spreadsheets and extensive experience & knowledge with various Payroll systems.
In my previous role, I worked closely with the CFO & Accounts department where I manually created all the Payroll Journals for the processing in the General Ledger, ensured all overseas floats, loans & garnishees were timeously deducted, etc, hence, I feel that I am efficient and accurate in record keeping & time management. I have also run various monthly payrolls which includes Contractors, Agents, Directors, Expats, Temporary and Permanent Employees. With these payrolls I was also responsible for accurately calculating commissions and overtime, etc. I played a major role in the implementation of VIP from a partial outsourced/manual payroll, this included ESS, ensuring all KPI's & KPA's were correct, job codes, categories, etc. I worked closely with the HR Manager, performing all HR duties as well to ensure a smoothing running of the HR/Payroll department.
In this role it is essential to be 100% accurate so that staff are not over or under paid and that they are paid on time into their correct bank account etc. My up-to-date knowledge of the South African Tax Laws and BCEA equips me to perform this job with ease.
I am a highly responsible person who remains calm under pressure and I am now seeking a new environment in which to work and I would like to grow within the company and have a long career in an HR/Payroll/Accounts department.
