My core driving force as an individual is the love of communication, design just happens to be one of my favourite ways of communicating. All forms of communication interest me. I have just completed a qualification in Creative Brand Communications that has given me good grounding in the art of communicating messages to any audience in any format and appealing to their physical senses as well as their inner most beliefs and desires. It has also given me valuable skills in a world where personal and corporate branding are paramount to one's success. My participation in the Model United Nations Competition in 2005 as a member of the WTO cultivated and developed my skills as an orator and the knowledge of how to get an audience to really listen to your message instead of just hearing it.

I also love extreme sports, pushing myself beyond my limits and my fears to see how far I can go. I also enjoy reading, drawing, swimming in the ocean, travelling to place where I am out of my element and being with people different from me in order to learn whatever I can. I have also had the privilege of travelling to New York, Hong Kong and the Philippines. This has opened my eyes to the very many ways that people do things in this world. It also bred a thirst to learn from situations not necessarily within my comfort zone. My natrual curiosity aided me in excelling in my work as a fashion consultant for Miglio Designer Jewellery. This role included researching and predicting trends within the fashion industry. I also have experience in the administrative side of the clothing manufacturing industry and the construction industry, where on a daily basis one deals with suppliers and accounts and always looking for better ways to manage flow of sourcing and production. I have constantly worked on office databases, having built them from scratch where there were previously none. Through this experience, I have understood the importance of organization and working smart and efficiently.
