Kenya attracting global business with advanced IT systems

East Africa's economic powerhouse, Kenya, utilises advanced IT systems that enable the country to do business in many spheres of the economy with clients from around the world, a top government official has said.

Kenya's permanent secretary in the Ministry of Information and Communications, Bitange Ndemo, said the east African nation had capable personnel in both the business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsource (KPO) that enabled the country to provide global customers with competent and effective performing outsourced work.

Ndemo was speaking at the presentation ceremony of PIN certificates for Certified Information Systems Auditors (CISA) in the Kenyan capital.
