    Here's something for the guys...

Men in Kenya have all the reasons to smile. After years, actually decades of waiting, they can look forward to a good read - ADAM.

The first issue of ADAM, a publication of the East African Magazine Distribution Ltd hit the streets early this week. “Men have not been properly catered for in the Kenyan magazine market. Why leave guys out? The prevailing notion has been that men do not buy magazines. Part of the reason for this is so glaring obvious. Men have nothing to read. While female readers have a wide selection on the news rack, men readers have been marginalized. ADAM's entry is therefore opportune,” says editor Oyunga Pala.

The 112-page glossy magazine is littered with almost everything from news stories, features, health, style, technology, motoring, travel, fitness and entertainment. Issues of the fairer sex also feature. It is one mix that will keep men readers - if it is true they read, engaged for a few hours.

Worth mentioning is the excellent photography and photo direction. The fashion page or ADAM Style as it called has two rugby players in navy two piece suits playing rugby in a hotel ballroom setting. This is very creative.

The monthly magazine retails for KSh 250.
