The virtual currency Bitcoins, could be the future of mobile money in Kenya, according to a report on Think Africa Press.

The service allows citizens to send and receive money domestically and, using the online peer-to-peer currency Bitcoins, transfer it internationally. Even though the use of Bitcoins has great potential in Kenya, it has, unfortunately, not caught on just yet.
