Kate Bapela new head of APRA
Kate Bapela was elected the president of the African Public Relations Association (APRA), formerly the Federation of African Public Relations Association (FAPRA), at its recent Annual All Africa Public Relations Conference. Peter Mutie was elected VP and Wole Adamolekun was re-elected as secretary general. In the months ahead, APRA will commence a process of rebranding and mobilising members, now that new tiers of individual and corporate memberships have been adopted. Also, Nigeria now hosts the secretariat of the continental body.
