Joint bid from Safaricom, Airtel to buy Yu

Reuters reports that according to the Communications Commission of Kenya (CCK), the country's two largest telecoms operators, Safaricom and Airtel, have made a joint bid of $100 million to buy smaller operator, Indian group Essar Coomunications' Yu.
