Brigitte Brun is co-author of the new LexisNexis publication, The Practical Guide to the Amended B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. She is the COO of a SANAS-accredited and IRBA-approved verification agency, one of the first nine agencies to be accredited to issue B-BBEE certificates in February 2009.
Brun has also served as a director of the Association of BEE Verification Agencies (ABVA) for two consecutive terms, guiding the young verification industry in its infancy. She has been appointed by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as a material developer and facilitator on the compulsory DTI Approved Management Development Programme on B-BBEE provided by Wits and UNISA for all SANAS technical signatories and IRBA auditors. Brun and her business partner, Linda Ngcobo, developed and launched South Africa's only BEE Calculator App. Brun is guided in her work on B-BBEE by her dedication to an inclusive South Africa.
