We are looking for a mid-level journalist/content manager to join our dynamic editorial team. We require somebody who is reliable, passionate about football, and willing to grow in their position. The relevant candidate would possess experience in journalism, a bonus for working in the football/sports environment, and be detail-driven. We work according to strict editorial guidelines and ethics, and require journalists who go the extra mile to ensure that their content is clear, well-written, and factual.

The position on offer requires the following skills and experience:

• Know how to use a content management system (CMS)
• Proficient in posting on various social platforms
• Proficient in writing clean, factual news content
• Excellent interviewing skills
• Be able to attend and cover matches and press conference
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to collate reporting data from analytics
• Have solid contacts within the PSL
• Must have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in this type of position
• Must have an understanding of SEO best practices for content
