- Ensuring all artwork is technically accurate and production-ready.
- Managing artwork across multiple formats and print specifications.
- Checking files for quality, resolution, colour accuracy, bleed, trapping, and print compliance.
- Performing preflight checks and correcting artwork where required.
- Liaising with internal creative teams and print suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintaining brand consistency across multiple campaigns and client accounts.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Troubleshooting technical artwork and print production issues.
- Preparing files for various print applications, including large format, litho, digital, POS, retail, and promotional materials.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a DTP Operator within a commercial print, large-format, packaging, retail display, POS, or print production environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Strong Mac operating system experience.
- Excellent understanding of print production processes and prepress requirements.
- Solid knowledge of colour management, including RGB, CMYK, Pantone, and spot colours.
- Experience preparing artwork for lithographic, digital, and large-format printing.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Personal Attributes
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly organised and deadline-driven.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication skills.
- Team player with a proactive approach.
- Passion for quality and technical excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled print professional looking to transition into a dynamic agency environment while continuing to utilise their specialist print production expertise.
