New Vehicle Sales Manager

A well-established automotive dealership, based in the East Rand, Gauteng is seeking a new vehicle sales manager, to join their sales department. 

This position is regarded as a key management role and will be suited to an experienced manager who has the ability to attract clients; provide excellent customer service; motivate staff; control costs and maintain high levels of sales on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and reporting on individual and team sales performance.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction targets are being exceeded.
• Taking a hands-on approach in supporting vehicle sales executives to meet their targets.
• Carrying out market and competitor analyses, setting target parameters (e.g. for pricing), and ensuring these are implemented.
• Engaging in active marketing and stock management.
• Identifying training and development needs and opportunities for your staff.
• Working closely with the vehicle sales team to ensure the dealership meets its new vehicle sales target.

Requirements and skills needed:

• Must have at least three years’ experience in the role with a proven track record within a franchised business.
• Grade 12 Qualification essential.
• Valid drivers’ licence essential.
• Specific brand experience, diploma in business or marketing management will be advantageous.
• Strong asset and stock control skills.
• Must have contactable references.
