You'll no longer see Steve Hofmeyr on DStv

Channel24 reports that Multichoice will no longer broadcast any content involving Steve Hofmeyr. The satellite TV service said that while it is in support of freedom of speech, it draws the line at racism.

Multichoice's ban of the Afrikaans musician also includes the removal of his nomination for the 2019 Ghoema Awards. He also won't get any mention or appear in any of Kyknet's upcoming 20th-anniversary celebrations.
