Des Kruger to rejoin Webber Wentzel

Webber Wentzel has appointed former partner and tax specialist, Des Kruger. He will rejoin the firm on 1 November 2016 following a period as a South African Revenue Service specialist consultant.

Kruger has a number of academic accomplishments which ranges from an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal to a master's degree in taxation from Harvard University.

He started his career in the tax industry in the 1970s and has provided advice regarding a number of tax issues which has included negotiating with SARS on legislation amendments and resolving conflicts.
